Division of Urology / Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center

The Division of Pediatric Urology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is currently seeking a board eligible/certified MD who has completed a pediatric urology fellowship. Individuals with an interest in developing a basic science research project as a part of their career development are highly desirable. Faculty appointments are granted through the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine and the level/rank will be commensurate with the candidate's experience. This is a unique opportunity for a clinician who has a strong interest in basic science research to be part of a multidisciplinary team which offers comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services for the entire spectrum of medical and surgical diseases affecting the urinary and genital tracts. The division is internationally recognized for our clinical expertise and involved in multiple specialized clinical programs that include the Urogenital Center, End Stage Renal Disease Care Program, Kidney Transplantation Program, Spina Bifida Clinic and the Healthy Bladder Clinic.

The division is in the process of establishing two new programs, the DSD Center and Bladder Outlet Obstruction Study Group, both of which will provide opportunities for basic science research in collaboration with the dedicated Pediatric Urology PhD faculty who is currently being recruited.

Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center currently ranks in the top three among all pediatric institutions and number two in NIH-funding among Children's Hospitals. The division ranks fourth among US pediatric Urology programs per the 2009 US News and World Report Survey.
We offer a top tier compensation and benefits package, as well as assistance in moving to one of America's most livable cities.  Additionally, our physicians are offered a tremendous amount of support to ensure their professional growth and to enable them to effectively treat the children in their care.
